TOXINOR

Toxinor is an inorganic toxin binder consisting of a suitable composition of active ingredients. It increases significantly the ability to absorb mycotoxins, presenting a stable effect at different levels of temperature and pH.

It restores intestinal epithelium integrity when mycotoxins are present. This integrity is determined by measuring Transepithelial Electrical Resistance (TER), where higher results will indicate better intestinal health.

TOXINOR is active against aflatoxins, trichothecenes (deoxynivalenol and T-2 toxin), zearalenone, ochratoxins and fumonisins. It allows a longer feed shelf life during feed processing and remains active at the various pH’s found in the gastrointestinal tract.

In pigs:
It reduces the incidence of hepatitis, nephritis and haemorrhaging produced by aflatoxins in feed.
It prevents diarrhoeas and other intestinal disorders caused by trichothecenes in feed.
It prevents the reproductive syndrome that can be caused by zearalenone in feed.
It protects against nephropathies and teratogenic effects caused by ochratoxins in feed.

In poultry:
It reduces the incidence of fatty liver lesions, kidney failure, osseous lesions, haemorrhaging and immune deficiency caused by aflatoxins in feed.
It prevents intestinal irritations and symptoms of neurotoxicity from trichothecenes in feed.
It prevents apathy, shivers and hunching-up caused by ochratoxin in feed.
It reduces the risk of diarrhoea and liver necrosis due to fumonisins in the feed.

In ruminants:
It prevents acute mastitis, the presence of M1 toxin in milk, respiratory and liver problems, and skin lesions caused by aflatoxins.
It prevents the increase of somatic cells, immunosuppression and various digestive disorders caused by trichothecenes in feed.
It reduces reproductive dysfunctions from zearalenones in feed.
